Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
DailyCore ("we", "us", "our") operates the DailyCore mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
By using DailyCore, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
- Supplement data: Names, brands, dosages, units, frequency, time of day, and notes for supplements you add to your cabinet.
- Supplement logs: Records of when you take or skip supplements, including timestamps and optional notes.
- Reminder preferences: Times and settings for supplement reminders you configure.
- Feedback: If you choose to complete the optional in-app survey, we collect your star rating (1–5) and any text you provide about features you like or improvements you suggest.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device identifier: We generate a random, anonymous identifier stored locally on your device to associate your data before you create an account. This is not your hardware device ID and cannot be used to identify your device across other apps.
- Basic usage data: App interactions necessary for core functionality.
- Error reports: When the app encounters an unexpected error, we automatically log the error message, stack trace, app version, and platform (iOS/Android/web). These reports contain no personal or health data — only technical information needed to diagnose and fix bugs.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Location data
- Contacts or address book
- Photos, camera data, or microphone input (the barcode scanner uses the camera only during active scanning and does not store images)
- Health or fitness data from device sensors
- Browsing history
- Financial or payment information
- Advertising identifiers
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the App's core functionality:
- Display your supplement cabinet and daily schedule
- Track your supplement intake history and streaks
- Check for potential supplement interactions
- Send local push notifications for reminders you set
- Sync your data across devices when you create an account
- Export your data as CSV when you request it
- Improve app stability and fix bugs using anonymous error reports
- Understand user satisfaction through optional feedback surveys
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
3. Health-Related Data
Supplement tracking data (what you take, when, and how much) may be considered health-related information under applicable privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Important: DailyCore is a wellness and organizational tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. Information provided in the app is general and educational in nature and does not constitute medical, pharmaceutical, or dietary advice.
We process health-related data based on your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you provide when you start using the supplement tracking features. You can withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account and data.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, hosted in the European Union.
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- Row-level security ensures users can only access their own data.
- Anonymous (non-registered) users' data is associated only with a randomly generated identifier stored on the device.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Supabase (our database and authentication provider) processes your data on our behalf to provide the service. Supabase acts as a data processor under GDPR.
- Anthropic (AI provider) — when you use the "AI suggestion" feature for supplement notes, the supplement name and dosage are sent to Anthropic's API (Claude) to generate a brief informational note. No personal identifiers or health history are included in these requests. Anthropic does not use this data for training.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or governmental request.
6. Your Rights (GDPR and Applicable Laws)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request deletion of all your personal data.
- Data portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format (CSV export is available in the app).
- Withdraw consent: Stop the processing of your health-related data at any time.
- Lodge a complaint: File a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@getdailycore.com.
We will respond to your request within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
- Your data is retained as long as you use the App and maintain an account.
- If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Anonymous (non-registered) user data is retained until you uninstall the App or clear the app's local storage. You may also request deletion by contacting us.
8. Children's Privacy
DailyCore is not intended for use by children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
